Residents of Coosaw Point enjoy three dedicated pickleball courts and one modified court within a tennis court.

The courts are lighted, fenced-in and separated by fence for continuity of play. We have a roster of about 25 players with an average of 8 – 12 showing up per session. Skill levels range from beginner to 4.0. Style of play is pick-up – players are matched-up by skill. There are four scheduled times of play during the week for the main group of players. A couple of break-out groups also play a couple of times per week.

Residents may invite guests to play, but that continues to be suspended during Covid-19. At least once a year, the core group of players hosts a beginners clinic as a way to reach to new residents as well as those who have decided to check it out.

Pickleball was introduced to Coosaw Point residents about six years ago. With growing interest each year, players were able to demonstrate a need for dedicated courts. One of the two tennis courts were divided into three pickleball courts and the existing tennis court has pickleball lines within.
